Why are you calling your psychologist? The psychologist should see you only in the office at you assigned appointment time. She doesn't have time to field a dozen calls from a 20 or 30 clients every day. You should wait to your next appointment to discuss whatever you need to and if there is some emergency that can't wait you should go to the emergency room at the hospital.

When you finish your work day, you want to go home and forget about work until the next day -- right? She does too. You may find your issues endlessly fascinating, but she has 35 more clients just like you. So call during business hours, and ask he to call you back at her convenience. Then keep the conversation short. She has a life, too.

If i was a psycologist, I would never like respond to calls or emails or letters or death threats or anything. I mean think about it, the only way to help you help yourself is to help you to learn to prevent helping yourself through contact with other people that you are paying to help you! And he doesnt get payed when you have phone chats. The last point is probably why.

no you don't have to buy her anything, really.
What're you going to her for? Have you paid her yet? Do you have another meeting soon? Is that why you're calling?
Also, if it's not that important or involves business for them, they may answer whenever they wish. They don't really care who it is. Or they may be busy. But mostly, it's about the money, I guess.

If she's like most, she'll just say: If this is an emergency, go to the nearest emergency room; otherwise, keep your next appointment and I'll see you then! Good advice!

If you're thinking about hurting yourself, drive to an ER. They'll be glad to assist in getting you the help you need.
