2.33ghz is slightly faster, but unnoticeable.

The FSB - Front Side Bus, think of it as how much load your truck can carry per trip, the more you carry, the less trip you have to make, so in theory, the E6550 will be faster as it runs at 1333Mhz FSB.

the second one is a little faster and is a new better proccesor. if i was given the option between the two i would go with the second one. it ain't much different but it's better.
