the sad news is most women who want to become a model never become the type you want to be. I did some modeling a few years ago and it was an alright experiance. I only make about 100 dollars in a span of three hours of not moving. I did my own hair and make up. Most model have to be over the age of 18 unless there legal guardian agrees to sign all the legal paper for them. Yes you will need to pay for your porfolio pictures to send to a modeling agency. If you are a good model, think playboy or Victoria secret then you can only work for one company and they will sign you to a contact stating that. A great was to find out more would be to contact a local modeling agency but be careful. Many of them are just looking to make money and will often tell you that for say 1000 dollars they will get you work but it does not always happen.

to start modeling i would suggest signing up with a talent agency. from there, u can axcess companies looking for models for certain things and what they will need u to do. I thgnk that would be the best thinkg to start out with, u can get a lot of info about it from ur talent agency or the one u are thinking about signing up with.

i think everything would be easiest if you applied for americas (whatever country) next top model and they will guide you through everything.

or any other modelling competition.
