I'd suggest changing that to 5 Kuhlis, 11 Neons, one Betta, and 2-3 MALE Platties (nothing is worse than fry without a place to go). A 30 gallon tank offers you a lot of room, and Neons, Kuhlis, and Bettas take up minimal space and produce minimal waste. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Platies and mollies both reproduce fairly immediately, although platies are my renowned starter fish. In both one in all our tanks we began with 4-6 platies, and then further fish. you would possibly want to attempt getting all women. they may well be pregnant once you get them even if the stress of shifting will reason them to abort some if them are, and if on your new tank you dont have many hiding places it shouldnt be a difficulty. As for the African Dwarf Frog, I wouldnt. They get skiddish round enormous fish (virtually all fish are enormous to them) and could cover on the bottom of the tank. they choose air to respire, and they wont flow to the right for concern of the fish and could drown. also, you shouldnt save ADFs in a tank it is more effective than about 12 inches from the gravel to the floor. except that I dont see a difficulty;) i might want to easily upload them slowly, no longer by surprise. In my 28 gallons I surely have mollies, platies, a pleco (I plan on shifting him at the same time as he receives too enormous. he's my infant), and a couple of queen loaches...and in the different one I surely have mollies, platies (men in a unmarried tank women in the different, lol, that way i will administration breeding), 2 flying foxes, neon tetras and a couple of yoyo loaches. only a personal prefrence, loaches are quite well worth the interest. they are quite relaxing little men. basically be particular to get between the smaller kinds because ideally speaking you ought to have a minimum of three of them (Im waiting for my interior reach fish keep to get some extra of them.)

Sounds like a good mix and you still have room for a few more fish. Might I suggest another (6) neons and (6) rasbora hets.

30 gallons is alot of room, what you have i fine but i would recomend more fish, khuli loaches are relatively long fish for their weight and i would not count hem as their full length in the 1inch of fish/gallon ecuation. in my thirty i have 2 fire gurami's, 1 three spot blue gurami, one yellow gurami, 3sunburst platies, a pleco, a silver tip shark, a cory and a frog and i only have about 20'' of fish. unless you have reason to keep your tank relatively sparse i would get much more fish than you said.

Hey I think that the fish mix good and male Betta's are only aggressive to other male Betta's.

only one platy??? maby you should add a couple of more. because there has to bee at least 2 of each fish except a bettas. but ya thats fine. and Im suprised that th betta isnt aggressive. it must just be a food fish. your lucky you have such a non aggressive fish. but ya add some moor platys.

good fish tank.

That sounds fine. Not overcrowded and you can always add a couple more later if you find that you can handle them. It's always easier to get more than have too many!
