Nope. Best part of my annual physical. Lady doctor you say. I might have to try that next time I schedule my annual physical.

Embarrassing for you huh? Well maybe next time think about how women have to go through a pelvic exam each year when a doctor, usually a man, pokes around and stares at her privates, uses a cold metal clamp to hold her open which scraping away cells and then sticking their fingers inside while pushing down on her stomach. Yes, situations like these exams can be embarrassing and, at least for women, sometimes downright painful and frightening. But you either do it for your health or risk it.

Yes, it's a bit embarassing - and my MD is a woman. She's seen it all before, so it's just me being embarassed, and it's over in a moment any way.
Just think of it as something to make you sympathetic towards women who get pelvic exams from male doctors.

No. It's a necessary part of the physical exam done in a clinical setting. And I do have a female physician.

I've got to agree with Mathie and Froggie. Women go through a lot more than that, and they also have the digital rectal exam as well. If you don't like having a woman do it, get a male doctor.... duh... I didn't like a male gyno, so I got a female.

My doctor does it because it's in his duties. We don't have to care about knowing if the doctor is gay friendly. The doctor has to do his job without any consideration bounded with our sexual orientation (It's the French way to consider the relationship with his own doctor)

Awww quite your crying. Until you go in once a year to have someone prop open your vagina with a clamp, stick their fingers in, and scrape with a thing that looks like a mascara brush, I don't have any sympathy!
