I'm not very sure if they are injured. It just happened overnight. Yesterday night I suddenly felt unusual tension around my neck when I was singing, and I stopped immediately. Two hour later I felt odd in my throat. It felt like "sore throat" when you got cold. This morning after I got up, it doesn't hurt if I don't talk, but when I coughed I realised that it could be serious.
Is it very serious or I just some rest? If so, about how long will it take to recover? Do I need to see the doctor now?

that happened to me I had laryngitis for 3 months. You should see an Ear Nose and throat doctor to make sure it's nothing serious. Mine came from a combination of excessive talking because I had a phone job, acid reflux and also allergies I was also given medicine to heal the damage from acid reflux

I was put on a caffeine and acid free diet and I was told to rest my voice by not attempting to talk and to communicate by writing. It's hard, but you will feel better.

go to the docs....they can stick a camera down your nostril and into your throat to see what's going on. as wel as that....don't talk if you don't have to and don't sing for at least a week. just make sure you get it look at by a professional ok?
don't worry about the camera thing..it doesn't really hurt...just a bit irritating.
