I got pregnant in August. At about 5 weeks along I started brown spotting. Everyone said this was normal, even the doctor. I had a bad feeling something was wrong though. After about two days I started to feel pains in my lower stomach and red heavy bleeding started to occur the next day. Brown spotting can be ok, but if you are having pains too, be very careful and stay on bed rest if you want to keep the child. The doctors will put you on a threatened miscarriage just because of the pain and bleeding. I went through alot just to save my baby, but it wasn't enough. I know it is hard at first, but remember you always have another chance. I hope you are not going through what I went through, and I hope everything turns out ok.

When I was around 2-3mos pregnant with my son, I spotted brown 4 different times and it would last a few days each time. I called the OB at the hospital and she said brown blood is old blood and has to come out for whatever reason and that I should be fine.February 20, 2007 , 39wks pregnant, I gave birth to a very healthy baby! So as long as it isn't bright red and you don't have any major cramping or pain, I wouldn't be too worried. When I spotted brown was my 3rd pregnancy and the first 2 I had never bled at all with so It was a lot different for me to do that. Good luck!

Mild period like cramps are normal but only mild and the cramps usually come and go.
If you are spotting and have cramps non stop id say you most likely could be starting to miscarry. In any case you need to go to the hospital asap so they can check you out.
I felt like that and had spotting with my first pregnancy and then 3 days later i lost the baby and it made me very sick so i was just lucky i was at the hospital on the last day when it got really bad. Please go in to the ER!!

I would go and see your doctor. I had brown spotting with my last pregnancy when I was 9 weeks pregnant and I had a miscarriage 1 week later. Good luck.

Brown blood = previous blood bright pink blood = new blood i spotted in the time of the entire first trimester of my first being pregnant. each and every thing became out merely positive. cease irritating, this is not solid for the newborn. because of the fact the release is brownish, this is merely previous gunk that your physique is doing away with. you do not must be stricken until eventually you have watery discharge, or notwithstanding if that's pinkish or bright pink.

Period like cramps are normal. Spotting in normal.
Bleeding and pain are not.
If you're concerned lay down and stay down and call your OB until they tell you what to do.

I would at least call your doctor to see what he/she has to say. Just remember every pregnancy is different, so your cramps could mean something bad is about to happen but only the doctor can really tell you what is going on. Best of luck!!

Ok if your pregnant and bleeding, you need to go to the ER. That is the rule of thumb unless your doctor says its ok to be doing this. You are saying that your 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant right? Well if you are then your probly losing the baby.
