being a non-custodial parent doesn't mean being a non-involved parent. if you are as active as is possible in your child's life, then it isn't a bad thing at all. do what you can with what you have, and its all good.

No. Some women are not meant to be parents and, if this is the case with you, you were wise to recognize the fact. It doesn't mean that you don't love your child or want to see her, it just means that you aren't ready or willing to put up with the day to day stuff that comes with raising one.

Nah. Just depends on if you lost custody and why, or if you gave it up and why. If it was because the dad and child are better suited together, then no. If it was because you just didn't want the kid, then yes.

You are a bad mom only if you are not providing support or don't show up for visitation or deliberately antagonize the father. Otherwise, I don't see any issues.
