PS2 Noises come when trying to play a game?

I recently bought this one game, "Theme Park Roller Coaster" for my Cousin for Christmas. However, when I tried it in my PS2, it made loud clicking noises which no other games make. I did buy it off the internet, is it faulty? The game still works, it just makes noises in the console. Is there some way to fix it?

There are kits that can remove scratches from cd's. Or you could return it (I never could successfully do this). The best bet is the cd repair kit.
