I prefer the combination reversed -- Isis Aria. Just a bit hard for Aria Isis to flow naturally, thanks to the back-to-back vowel sounds ... and much as I like Aria, Isis is just striking, I'll admit. ;)

Still, both names are great on an individual basis, so if Aria's the one, certainly not a bad combo. ;) Lovely names.

Edit: Per certain obviously uninformed comments, you might want to include a bit of the history behind these names if you post again in the future. Certainly, Aria could technically be considered a less historic choice, given the literal word context, but still not unfamiliar as a given name. Isis, on the other hand, is literally one of the oldest names in existence, as a mythological reference to the Egyptian goddess. That someone would deem such a timeless choice as something other than a "real people" name is just ignorant, to be honest. There are, after all, plenty of intriguing, ACTUAL names beyond just those in the top ten. Shame when people don't seem to realize that.

It's definitely unique. I'm not a fan of Aria but I think Isis is beautiful.

Aria - pronounced AR-eee-Ah?
Yeah, it's nice, it might get misspelled a lot.

I like it! I had a friend whose name was Area, pronounced the same way. I like how that flows well with Isis.

My personal opinion is that you should name your child AFTER someone or a name that means something to you.

But I loooove that name!

I like it. It's very unique but it may be difficult for your daughter to pronounce.

i really think both names are beautiful but i dont know if i would use them together. however, it sounds like you and your husband have found something you both love. she's going to be your world, you should name her what you like not what i like.

Arya is a character in Eragon and Eldest- she is very strong and tough, since she's an elf, and so I think that it is a very good name. Good luck!
