I was barely on my 3rd pill yesterday on my 1st pack, but i had unprotected sex am I at risk of being pregnant or is the pill effective already??

if i am at risk what should i do , should i stop taking the pill, can that harm a baby??Im thinking it would, what should i do?

usually you have to finish a full cycle to be protected. Anytime you have unprotected sex you are opening yourself up to lots of things including pregnancy.
On another note, i was taking ortho tri cyclen routinely when I got pregnant with my second child.

*edit* if you are really worried, quit taking your pill, but use a back up method (or two) to make sure you don't become pregnant. Wait and see if you period comes, if it does start taking your pill again (or ask to have your pills switched as I have met ALOT of gals on here who have gotten pregnant on this pill) and use a back up method of BC until you have finished a full cycle of pills. best of luck....

You are at risk. It takes some time for the pill to become effective.

nope it takes a month for the pill to kick on if you have never been on it before.
and just so you know, i took tricyclen lo same time everyday for a very long time. and I am pregnant.

No, it takes at least 7 full days before you are protected. You have a good chance of being pregnant.
