Why do people tell me I act like I think I'm pretty? This girl I work with says that? I don't act that way? I don't wear makeup or get my hair done. I wear plain clothing? What would give her and other people that impression.

Any one who tells you you "act like" you think you're pretty is very insecure and feeling ugly themselves. What a rotten thing to say. How does someone 'act like' they're pretty? Believe me you are a beautiful spirit even in plain clothes...Perhaps it's your self confidence that shows. Any insecure person would be threatened by your confidence. Stay true to yourself and watch the posers fall away...Soar with the Eagles don't let the turkeys get you down....You go Girl!

Sit back and really think about the type of people that are saying this to you. They are most likely jealous of you because, maybe they do have to do all that stuff to be pretty and you just might have natural beauty. I don't know how old you are but, you've got to learn to overlook what people say, especially when you know it's not true. 9 times out of 10, their just jealous.

The next time someone makes a comment like that, ask them why they said it. It's hard to say why you give people that impression. It could be more your attitude and not what you're wearing per se.

Maybe you are "self-confident". Others often see that trait as threatening. The obvious conclusion is that you are attractive, but others see your self-confidence as vanity. I wouldn't let it bother me.

people always find reasons to hate on someone.............some people are never happy with themselves, so they find it hard to be around someone who is confident and is not bothered by societies definition of who they should be and the way they should act
