I want to get a switchblade online, but first I have to convince my dad. I need several reasons why owning a switchblade is a good thing.

A good thing to know about owning a switchblade is:
1. posession is a felony in some states, like CA; and a felony on your record will mess you up for life.
2. a switchblade will just get you into trouble. If you take one out during a fight, someone might take it away from you and use it on you.
3. It is a tool for violence, are you looking for violence.
4. you can't take q knife to a gunfight....and
5. carrying a weapon will eventually lead to bloodshed....yours or someone elses. Are you prepared for that?

There are no good reasons for owning a switch blade knife. In many states this weapon is illegal and if user is jailed may spend a good long sentence. Naturally it all depends on the owner of the blade. I would check carefully before purchasing one.
