I love as green as I can. I volunteer and help clean up local beaches, parks etc. I recycle and watch my water and electricity usage. I wash my car on my lawn.

I'm getting ready to survive it's course. If it's in fact already happening, I doubt we have enough time to influence such a huge system which seems to be accelerating out of control.

I live in Kansas and we had a pretty bad ice storm a week ago and there is power out in many places of the city I live in. It's supposed to be out for at least another week or two for some people. We lost it at our house for a day, but it really made me think about how much we rely on our comforts, like heat and light.

I still bet my neighbors would think I was crazy if I strapped a boat to my roof.

If things fall into another Ice Age, some of us will inevitably survive. It's probably going to be up to the strong and the smart much like the ones capable of surviving the last one.

I do recycle though. It's just a good thing to do. Waste makes me feel guilty.

I haven't done anything recently to add to what I've already been doing for about 15 years: I've never owned a car, can't even drive, I recycled as soon as the facility was available, I always turn off unnecessary electronics and lights. I jumped on the bandwagon long before Gore!

I walk to work. I turn lights off when Im not in the room. I dont use the TV for light or noise at night anymore. I turn my air off when it is cool outside. I buy "green" products, packaged in recycled cardbaord and such. Right now my faucet has a leak, and until we buy a new one, I am using the leaking water to water the plants. Every little bit helps I guess. Plus it is cheaper for me. Honestly though... we all do things that destrys the world. We cant win now. Weve screwed up too much.

only a small minority of global warming is caused by human actions.roughly 5%.this might be a natural cause,so we not might be able to stop it.what i have done is to preach to other people not to give up everything.of course our natural resources of oil are limited, and people should not use gas[i think water or solar powered cars are the future]extremely and unabstemiously.i hate that it polutes the air and the I Q levels of teens and young people are going down.we all need to help the future us and generations, not only focusing on global waiming and global clouding are the factors of it all,but our future to not survive on things that wili be gone is growing near.man kind is bringing the destruction to the earth, and only mind kind can un-effect this.i also dont use electricity is often as people do.my rooms are complete darkness, except for my flash light that you shake yourself to creat the energy.evry one save us.

We humans are powerless to stop global warming--the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof. If He wants the globe warmed, we will not be able to stop it, and if He chooses to preserve the earth, there is nothing we can do to destroy it.

However, I do believe that He intends for us to be good stewards of the earth--that is part of the original mandate given to man when God created Adam & Eve. So, I plant additional trees and conserve those already growing on our heavily wooded acreage, use solar power for our front gate, and buy energy efficient appliances and central heat/air unit to replace existing ones as they wear out. I am not working now, so I am using less gas, and I try not to waste trips to town. This year I didn't buy a cut real tree, but instead planted a live one outside which I lit with a solar light kit, as well as putting birdseed ornaments on it for the indigenous wildlife.

I'm sure I have a much smaller "carbon footprint" than Al Gore and most of the people griping so loudly about it all.

I use reusable bags for shopping, replaced all appliances with Energy Star appliances, have contacted all the companies that send me junk mail to request that they stop (can't tell you how nice that is - no junk mail!), I buy my fruits and vegetables from local farmers markets or grow them in my garden, use energy saving light bulbs, I'm planning on installing solar panels as well...

haven't gone hybrid yet. As soon as Ford makes a hybrid Mustang, I'll consider it.

I don't own a car, I don't own a dryer, I turn off some appliances at the walls and turn off everything before I leave the house and I recycle.

Oh, and I also release a few ice cubes into the ocean each year... lol!
