My car Corolla 1995 Conquest AE102X F/inj need a new waterpump. Some one ask $350.00 to finish it at my home. (Parts and Labour)

01. Is this a acceptable deal. (I mean isn't it too cheap)
02. Do I need to change time belt at the same time. (Don't know when the last change occured)
Your advice is appreciated.

I'd have to agree with Robert M - 350 for parts and labor is a deal, but as he said, use genuine Toyota parts.

In your owner's manual, there is a section that tells you when to change your timing belt. At this time, it is also good to change the water pump.. Be sure that you use only genuine Toyota belt and pump!!!!! look for the part numbers stamped on them. Anything else will prematurely wear. Also, only use genuine Toyota coolant. Trust me!!!!!!! $350 for parts and labor is a bargain. Ask at your dealership what their normal charge is for this job. The good news is that once it is done, it should last another 100,000 miles.

Your probably low on freon, you have what is called a low pressure switch in the low side line, when the pressuer gets low it won't let the compressor come on therefore saving it from burning up. Have your pressure checked and add freon if necessary.
