I don't know if this is a spell or just some weird worship or something. Near where I live I found a circle scrapped into the ground about 6 foot wide, in the circle there was different plants tied together in bunches. There was also some little crystal figures in it and one of them was an elephant couldn't tell what the others were.

Does anyone know what this is? is this the work of witches or something else, thanks.

Were the plants tied in bunches the herb sage? Those take away bad karma.

Have fun at the Winter Solstice! It happens near midnight in my time zone in America, so you may have to get up really early tomorrow morning to catch the Wiccans welcoming the Winter Solstice.

1: Unless you know the intent of the spell you are trying to do, it is dangerous to do it because you may disrupt nature. #2: There must be some religious intent behind a spell. If you don't believe in or understand the principles of the magic, it either won't work or ill be dangerous. #3: Love spells are dangerous because they violate free will, which means that if you cast it, not only are you violating nature, but you will be punished indirectly times three. In short, if you don't understand anything about magic other than you want to control nature, don't do it. You can't control nature, and messing with magic is dangerous.

The circle is more apt to have been someone's "sacred space"-- where they may have done their spiritual devotions.

Herbs tied in bunches, carved stone figurines..that could be anything from Zuni or other Native American medicine to Hindu, Shinto, Wicca, or even Vanatru.

Your description is of a space that is no more threatening to you (or anyone else) than are the many instances of memorial "shrines" that individuals set up at the site of some fatal traffic accident.

I cast spells from time to time, I would have to have seen it. Sounds like someone's dabbling in two cultures.
Witches aren't just limited to one culture, I wrote a spell for someone recently who was in love with a girl who was Hindu, maybe they were attempting to appease one of those deities.

It sounds like someone's "work room". Many of us like to work outside because we're closer to the pulse of the earth that way.

Don't worry - it won't be threatening to you.
