i only took it once. and got my period almost two months later. I was told you don't start having irregular periods until you're on it for at least a year. But i've only took it once.

Some women never bleed.
Some women bleed for months.
Some women have "normal" periods.
I was on it for four years, never had a period, just occasional spotting at odd times, as well as many other horrible side affects.

That's not the way it went with me. I took it and about three months later I began to experience spottting and prior to that often I had break throughs. It also made me very moody, but I never realized to after I stopped the depo. And the spotting continued for almost 2-3 weeks. I don't like it personally.

I didnt have a period the whole time. I only took it twice and gained like 40 lbs...

my period stopped completely after the second shot (six months). don't worry - it's normal even this early.

GET OFF THE SHOT! It will eventually cause serious side effects. It will really screw up your body and hormones.
