Well the Burger King I work at doesnt have a playplace due to some interesting things that people are now finding in these "play places".
All kinds of bacteria, and diseases are found everywhere around these thing. The biggest one is "FECAL" matter! Yes...crap people.
And it's also viewed as a liabilty in case a child breaks something or get hurt while playing on these things.
But some other BK's in the Dallas area have them...maybe they didnt get the memo.

Not every BK has a playplace. I know a BK right outside of my town that has a playplace while the BK at my town has no playplace. It all depends where you live.

One of the bk's in my old town had a big slide and fun room for kids to play in. I think only a select few have them. I remember that in the 90's they used to have this whole group of kids as like mascots. Kind of like how mcdonald's has ronald mcdonald, grimmace, and the hamburgerler.

they are targeting a different market..i dont know abt other countries but in New Zealand, BK is a lil bit more expensive than Mcdonalds and also the BK advertisements are usually for more mature people and for men (women in bikinis).
the desin of the stores are also different, mcdonalds is more kid orientated..BK has pictures on the wall of Elvis, coke advertisements in the 1960's or sumthing etc

We have two B.Ks, in our town and two Mc Ds, all 4 have play spaces. So probably the ones that don't just weren't built to accommodate them size wise or for insurance purposes.

The Burger that is near me has a play place. A lot of places may not have them due to liability issues.
