any winter plant??

can any one tell me a small plant ican buy that grows well in winter? this is for my science project, i am in 7th grade

Go to a local nursery and tell them what you want, where you want to grow it, and how much time you have for it to grow. Many winter vegetables would qualify, like cabbage, broccoli, even grass.
