Charles Robert Darwin. Like Copernicus demystified the physical world, Darwin brought the biological world into the light and out of superstitious darkness.
All the other scientists mentioned so far were all derivative hacks compared to Darwin. Only Einstein would be considered worthy enough to lose Charles Darwin's sandal strap.

By itself, this is not a meaningful question. But if it gets you to study the main candidates and their contributions, and think about how those contributions have impacted society, and how those impacts might be compared, and then express those thoughts coherently and persuasively, then it's a meaningful question indeed.
