Let's count girls' legs first:
7 girls = 7 x 2 = 14 legs

Now let's count how many cats are there:
7 girls x 7 backpaks/girl x 7 big cats = 343 big cats
... and how many kittens;
7 little cats/big cat x 343 big cats = 2,401 little cats
.... giving you a total of 343 + 2,401 = 2,744 cats
.... so, the cats' legs should be 2,744 x 4 = 10,976

In total there are 14 + 10,976 = 10,990 legs

calculate the total legs for a girl first

so, 2+7(4)+7(4)(7)=226

so the total legs are 7(226)=1582
