how long are you leaving it in them little container with him? is the container big enough? try live thats what i feed mine with. also he isn't going to starve after a month the used to be the old standard for feeding snakes. it used to be to feed 1 time a month. so he will be fine. just try it every day. also if your cage isn't the highest of temps. snakes DO hibernate if it's cold enough. also he could be getting ready to shed. is he's eyes a milky blue color??? if so up the humidity around 70-90% to get a good shed. then wait a day or 2 after the shed to offer. unless your giving him frozen food. i feed mine live so we wait a day or 2 before feeding. hope i helped.

did you just get him. Well if you did your supposed to let him rest for 1-2 weeks without any handling or eating. This is to let him de-stress. Dont get so worried. Ball pythons go for weeks, months and sometimes years without eating. He wont die, trust me i had the same problem and mine went for 6 weeks without eating. I would just not touch him or try to feed him for 1 week. Then try again. Make sure the food is properly and fully defrosted. Also make sure it is warm o slightly hot, but enough to burn him. Pythons have a heat sensing organ so f the food is too cold it wont eat. Make sure you are dangling the mouse over the snake head by the mouses tail. The snake should grab it and coil around it. If not try a little trick i made up:

1) Get an empty coffee can with a lid.
2) Peirce ventilation holes in the lid.
3) put the thawed mouse and the baby all in the can and close it.
4) leave the can in his tank for atleast 2 hours.
5) Check on him by opening up the can if he didnt eat it, leave him for another 2 hours, or try reheating the mouse and redoing the procedure(with the same can of course).

If he will not eat. Try doing the same thing next week. He will eventually get hungry and eat, so dont worry yourself too much...

First of all BP's do not hibernate. Leave your snake alone, no handling for atleast 10 days and then try again. Another thing, fuzzys are WAY to small for baby BP's. You need to feed it hoppers. Some snakes have been documented to go off feed for over a year so if yours doens't eat for a month or 2 its not going to die. Good luck!

Ball pythons are notoriously bad eaters. My friend's is afraid of spotted rats and refuses to eat them even if they're pre killed. This one has gone, I think, three months or so without eating. So don't panic. Snakes aren't like other animals in terms of eating habits. For them going a couple of weeks without eating is like you or I skipping lunch. However you should keep a close eye on it. If you think it's looking skinny or it has baggy skin you should take it to a vet or back to the breeder. Force feeding may be possible if it comes down to it.

oh and offering live food isn't a great idea for many reasons. You have to keep the food alive until your snake is ready to eat. You run the risk of your snake getting bitten. That's why my friend's snake is afraid of spotted rats by the way and if you get into the habit of giving your snake live food it might not go back to prekilled food at all.

Thaw the fuzzy in warm water until it doesn't feel cold. Then just before you feed, put it in HOT water for about 15 seconds. It's important for the thawed mouse to be really warm. Here is an excellent care page with feeding tips:

since it is winter, he may not want to eat because of hibernation. it's ok to miss this much. i know someone who's snake went missing for 6 months and he hadn't eaten at all. he was fine, just a little skinnier.

is it time for him to shed? if he's getting ready to shed he may not want to eat either. just relax a bit and give him sometime.
