how can i repair internet exployer6spiand internet tools?

my internet exployer when i scan it says cant be repaired

IE6 is out of date. You really need to download over IE6 the new IE7. Here is the link.

If you see "Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 & Tools" in your Add/ Remove programs list from the control panel. You can repair it by highlighting it in the list, clicking on the Add/Remove button, and chosing the "Repair" Option.

If you do not see it listed in the Add/Remove list. You can chose Add/ Remove Windows Components. Find Internet Explorer in the list, remove the checkmark out of the box and click NEXT and follow the onscreen directions. Then reopen Add/ Remove and Add/Remove Windows Components and place the checkmark back into the box and click Next and follow the onscreen directions. Don't forget to go back to windows Update and get any IE6 Security updates and patches.
