General equation for a line is y = mx + b
m = slope
b = y - intercept (because if x = 0, y = b)
=> y = - 5x + 3

This is very easy
the formula is
y=mx+b or y=mx-b
so the answer is
y=-5x+3
for if ur equation is not in y=mx+b ( y intercept form)
REMEMBER
1. must be in y=mx+b
2. y's coefficient must be = to 1
If u want to graph
1 must be in y=mx+b form
2. y's coefficient = to 1
3 must show mx+b even if it is 0 Example: Y=mx+0
4 show slope. even if it a whole number Example: y=2/1x+b or y=3/4x+b
5 Read what u graph
Also remember M is the slope and B is the y intercept

the formula is y=mx+c
m stands for gradient
c stands for y-intercept
so m=-5, c=3
so the equation is y=-5x+3

Fill into this formula:
y-y1=x(x-x1)
y-3= -5(x-0)
y-3= -5x
y= -5x + 3
