For instance do you think there are more black fans, white fans, asian fans, or hispanic fans? Please keep it clean! I am not trying to start anything here I am just curious!
In my opinion, I think there are more white NBA fans than other groups (especially here in New York). Do you agree or disagree?

statistically it's mostly white. tickets are pretty expensive and then there is cost of parking, food and so on. its hard to not come off as racist saying this, but prices are a reason there are more whites than any other group of other races. i remember going to the forum when the lakers still played there and it was a really good mixed crowd. but as tickets have increased in prices see a lot less fans and a lot more observers or business people rather than the hard core fans i use to sit shoulder to shoulder with. i used to watch the celtics in the original garden when bird played and even though most of the fans were white then, just the spirit of the game was awesome, now a lot of that has been removed. i also watched the bull when jordan played, same thing... i really don't care who attends games based on race, but what i miss is the team spirit that use to be sooooo evident in the arenas. bring the fans back!!! this game was built by the fans and people who truly loved the game... now all i hear is "who is number 7?" ..."what's traveling?" ..."that guy is tall."
man i miss the fans!

yo Yankees I think you need to go back over your math buddy. If your talking about fans in america, I would have to say as a whole, seeing that there are more whites in America than any other nationality, I would say there are more white fans. If you want to go by percentage, i would say 90% of black people are fans of the sport seeing that most of your athletes are prodominantly black. But as far as fans throughout the world, with the addition of Yoa Ming and there being over a billion people in Asia, I would say Asian's top the charts worlwide. These are not exact stats but just seem to be the most logical in my opinion.

i thnk its like 55% of white then 50% black then the rest is asian, hispanic, and other

here in L.A. there are more black fans than white or the others.
it might be because most of the bball players are black.

this is how i c things, when i watch b-ball games, most, lyk 60% of whites r in lyk the 1st 30 rows while blacks r usually all da way on the top, y?

it depends what city your in.
i, am from the bay area, and as for Warriors fans go, it's mostly black, white, and asian.
