Absolutely~~~Huckabee and Romney, and Hillary...however Huckabee is using the worst form of exploitation..in his latest holiday ad....with the shelf lit up subliminally as a cross.........no doubt he is preaching to the religious base of the Republican party...but he takes it to the extreme...Romney does it subtlely, by trying to explain his Mormon faith..........Hillary is using religion as a "poison-pill" against her closest rival, Barack Obama..claiming he is a Muslim, when he definitely isn't....all is wrong....Religion should not be an issue in any campaign...and shouldn't be "worn on the sleeve" it should be where it belongs...in the heart~!!!

Hmmm, to all of those who want to hit the obvious choices, lets remember that Clinton has become a regular at church, oh my is that Barack in the front pew? They all do it to garner votes. When will the voters understand they are all one and the same? Where is all the promised changes a year after the Dems took power? The two parties feed off of each other and nothing gets changed.

Candidates are and should be exploiting everything they can do win - that's how our system is set up, and why I despise it all - but I can't hold it against any of them by individual - it's why our culture likes WWE and Jerry Springer - it's a train wreck, like Spears or M. Jackson. We're addicted to goofusses.

I don't think so. However there are plenty of media elitist continually bringing it up to try and define it as a campaign issue. I don't care about Romney's Mormon religion , Huckabee's bookcase( floating cross) or Obama's alleged Muslim roots. I care about what their stated agenda is for the country.

Politicians will say & exploit anything they think the people want. Is it correct - No, but they are doing what we expect. They & we know the day they take office is the day they have their senior moment & forget everything they promised. We've let them do this for decades. Why do you now expect anything better?

Most of the candidates are claiming they believe in God and that it influences them in some way. They do it because they believe most ignorant people are religious and will only vote for a religious candidate. This is unfortunate because religion is a scourge that has absolutely no place in politics or any other arena.

Unfortunately I think more than half of the candidates are exploiting religion to garner votes.

Completely wrong in my eyes but I am someone that believes in separation of church and state.

I think all do to some extent nowadays.
It is their choice in my opinion, I cannot judge them right or wrong on personal choice.
It does seem like pandering though.

I like Huckabee but he seems to be doing it. And Mitt Romney is using anything he can.

I personally don't like it. Seems kinda scummy.
