There is no doubt that he is one of the greatest wrestlers ever, but I have been getting sick of him lately..
Here are some of the reasons I say this:
*His 'Deadman' gimmick is way too boring;
It takes like 5 min. for him to get to the ring..
*He only wrestlers once a month; the only time he wrestles is on a PPV- for the World Heavyweight Championship- if it is not for the title, he will not wrestle..
*The storyline is boring..
I know that Batista is always after the title, but at least he wrestles in each SmackDown! night..
*I know what he is gonna do in every Smackdown!; He will be announced to appear later on the night, and at the end, when there are like 7 mins. left, he will come out to the ring, and chokeslam either Edge or Batista, and it is the same old sh-it over and over..
Maybe he shouldn't get released; maybe he should take some time off and come back with a new gimmick & storyline..
I know that he is not the one who choses what to do, but still..

First of all,i am a big Undertaker fan and he is my favorite wrestler of all time..
I respect your opinion though but i disagree. It depends how you see him..
*His Deadman gimmick is the most unique gimmick ever and t was high unlikely for him to succeed back in the early 1990's but he very quickly became a legendary figure...
*I do agree in this one, that his ntrance is too long but i am really enjoying it since he is my favorite although yeah if it woilld be a little bit more quick..it would be cool for the other fans...
*He does not wrestle once per month but he is not always wrestle like he used to.Well,he is 43 years old and he is almost like a part time wrestler..not a full-time contract...With that statement though,MVP should be get banned from wrestling considering that the last 6 months has wrestled in 4 matches besides the fact that he has the heart condition...He wrestled with jamie Noble and some more recently..
*Like i said before,Batista is in his prime now and he needs much more tv time than The Undertaker. Also, the storylines are not Taker's fault and it is better see him wrestle once per month and doing a suicide dive from inside to the outside of the ring at the age of 43 than watch Batista injuring Elijah and Henry accidentally..(with all due respect to Batista of course..)
*Yeah,it is part of his gimmick to make that type of appearences that's why the crowd loves him(most of them)
As far as of getting releashed i really really disagree with that.I do agree that maybe he needs to become a full part time wrestler..However,getting releashed trust it would be almost destructive for the WWE.He is on the WWE from 1990 and he is still entertaining.
As for the gimmick change..it would have been profitable if he was 35 or something like back in 2000 he did it...but at the age of 43 and in his last ages in wrestling it would be a very wrong move to change his gimmick. It would hurt his lgendary Deadman image he has built so far...
Some people like The Rock and Stone Cold can be replaced (not 100% of course) by guyz like Mr.Kennedy,MVP and some more...but The Deadman gimmick is one for the ages and trust me we will understand that when he decides to retire from the WWE...His absence will be huge...
Well,no matter if i disagree with you,you stated your opinion the respectfull way and i respect that...
and since you fired me up to defend my favorite i will give you a *star*

Stand Back........There's a Hurricane Coming!
Unfortunately you do what gets you to the dance. The Gimmick is what truly made him. He was a decent tag wrestler and a very limited singles wrestler back in the old NWA days. This gimmick is what keep people buying tickets. Unlike Hogan who needed a break from the yellow and red to black and white as a heel because the all American thing was getting a bit too much. The Undertaker can still go either way which is most intriguing. But to be honest, I only watch Smackdown for two things anyway, MVP and The Undertakers Entrance

Undertaker has earned his right to work a lighter schedule.
He has busted his a** for years in the WWE, and he worked RAW, SmackDown, and house shows constantly for years and years.
-His entrance is not that long. The Sandman's entrance in ECW was longer.
-His storyline doesn't have publicity stunts, but it's not boring; it's just mainly him chasing the title, the way most storylines should be.
-He wrestles more than once a month, and he takes a lot of hits still.
-He is known and recognized and respected as "The Deadman", so why change? That's like telling Austin to change himself when he's known for having beer, stunning people, and hating Vince.

I love the undertaker, but your right the new entrance sucks donkey nuts. I am also sick of the batista-edge storyline. I remember that storyline between the ROCK, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Kurt angle, Big Show, in like 2003, now that was entertainment.

Cause he brings in the fans, which brings in the cash. Taker is a cash cow, and as long as he can get in the ring, roll his eyes back in his head and draw his thumb along his neck, the WWE wont be in a hurry to release him. His wrestling ability could be questioned, but is one letter in WWE that lets Vince forgive that. E - Entertainment. The fans find him entertaining and pay to see him. Is he the best wrestler to have graced a WWE ring? No. Is he one of the best wrestlers to have graced a WWE ring? No. Taker is a person who can play the part of a popular gimmick the WWE invented. Batista has never wrestled. He just a roid up move botcher who really injures wrestlers.
heres a full list of people Batista has injured throughout his career.
#1 HHH- back in 05 batista vs HHH happens in a hell cell match. HHH gets injured after batista botches a move injuring HHH
#2 Mr. Kennedy- Batista was Mr.Kennedy's opponent at house show he was supposed to be injured at leading to Kennedy dropping Money in Bank, not getting a title shot, and still staying as a mid carder. Even though Kennedy wasn't servery injured its still Batista's fault
#3 Orton back on raw Batista threw him in ring post to hard separating his shoulder
#4 Undertaker was feuding with Batista and he turns up injured. Coincidence?? I think not
#5 Edge ?? really how did Edge get a torn pec by Kane ,when all Kane done was give him a upper cut. Edge probably got injured at houseshow cause he wrestled Batista alot their and wwe just used that as a cover up.
I think Batista also injured the Dudley Boys back on 03-04. Batista also botched a move on Burke a few weeks ago and could of injured him.
Batista is sloppy in the ring and doesn't deserve to be a wrestler after all the people he injured.
Batista has cheated on his wife with cancer and came on to ***** just cause she didn't feel like vaccuming. Batista never been to support the troops, has got a big ego of himself thinking he the only one who can sell tickets which led to a real backstage fight bewteen booker t and batista

Man don't you ever say that again. The Undertaker is one of the all-time greats in wrestling, and one of the best guys they have right now. He's just getting older and can't be used as much. If he got released, i'm sure the WWE would fall apart without him. If anybody should be released, it should be "super" John Cena.

i still find him and entertaining and it will be sad wen he leaves but i think ur right i think as wwe fans we are way too selfish i think we ask way too much and there will be people who answer this question saying i hope he neva quits. People you have to let go he is great yeah but he cant last forever and do you really want him to end on anegative note or end now wen he has just had a title reign and still at the top .
