Who owns the best forehand in tennis? Male and Female?

Federer has the best forehand.
I'd go with Steffi Graf in females.

Best forehand in the mens game:
Roger Federer, David Nalbandian, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Fernando Gonzalez can all be considered as having the best in the game. Roger's has been the most consistent though and I will go with his.

Best forehand in the womens game:
Justine Henin, Serena Williams, Lindsey Davenport, Ana Ivanovic and Nicole Vaidisova all have great forehands. Venus Williams has a great one if the ball is short but if she is kept back she foolishly goes for winners and misses far too often to even be mentioned with the players above.
Justine's forehand is very consistent, but the other girls hit harder. Serena and Nicole are a little too inconsistent and Ana occassionally goes for too much (I think she hits the hardest forehand). That leaves Davenport, who I believe has the most effective flat forehand in the womens game.

Federer for sure. There are many potent forehands in the mens' game (Roddick, Nadal, Djokovic, e.t.c), but none have the tha all-round blend of power, creativity, and precision that Roger does. As John McEnroe frequently says, it's "the greatest shot in the sport". Nuff said.
