They are supposed to have a flame retardant on them but it can wear off in time. Anything can burn, check the lights make sure the wires arent exposed, the tree isnt too close to a heat source etc. Have a safe and Happy Holiday.

Of course it can, theres lots of ways to get a fake christmas tree on fire. But you can prevent this from happening with not much effort.
- Make sure you dont have any candles around the tree.
- Make sure that you don't have water near the electricity when the tree is plugged inn.
- Make sure that nobody plays with a lighter around the tree.

Even if this does happend it will take a bit of time to catch fire so you shall be able to put it out in time. No worries this doesn't happen very often anyways xD

yes if there is a short in the wiring of the lights that you put on the tree or in the wiring for the lights attached to the tree if its prelit.

Yea but it'll take a long time so you can douse it with a fire extuiguisher

IM NOT SURE BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A FAKE TREE AND NOT HAD A FIRE

ITS POSSIBLE ..BETTER KEEP SOMETHING NEAR IT BECAUSE IT IS BETTER TO BE SAFE THEN SORRY

yes! probably more than a real one because at lest the real ones are alive and wont catch that quickly

It's more likely to melt, but yes it can burn.
