It's not legal to drive on a parking lot without a license because they are generally public areas, however, you are allowed to drive on private property as long as you have the consent of the land owner and the owner of the car.

Not in public use parking lots, like a shopping center or grocery store, but you can drive on private land, with the permission of the land owner.

Yes, as long as the owner does not object. You may drive on private property without a license.
Edit: I said PRIVATE property where the owner does not object. So the shopping mall parking lot is legal if they do not object or have it so posted.. Pubic park is not.

If you don't have the owners permission, you can be done for tresspassing and potentially for criminal damage.

You can't be done for driving offences, but the judge can still lay conditions on when/whether you get a licence once you're old enough.

That's for the UK, I can't imagine it's that different for the US.

well, that all depends on what state your in and what the local laws are, And how small your town is. the smaller town they more that everyone knows you and as long as your parents drive you there, and are on hand chances are you wont be bothered. get permission from the lot owner.

No it is not legal and it can cause you not to be allowed to get your permit till you were 18 if caught.

Probably not when the business is open or when the owner is there. After hours is your best bet.

yeah, i actually did it when I was 14 in my dad's private b-ball court, and the court marshall told us as long as there are no people to hurt, and it's private property, its ok
