You need an 80 to keep your grade an 80.
85% of your current grade (80) gives you 68 points.
You need 12 more from the 15% final. Dividing you'll find 12/0.15 = 80
This makes sense. You have an 80, so you need to keep at an 80 for your final grade to be 80.
Note: Even if you ace the exam, your final grade can't contribute more than another 15 points (100 x 15%). That would get you to an 83 maximum. Good luck on the exam!

Ask the teacher if there was something to do as extra credit to get some assurance that you'll stay at 80%. My teacher did that once for me so I could keep an A. Maybe you could even try for an A using the "extra credit" tactic. Say that you have really tried to get as high a grade as possible inorder to get into a good university. Maybe even work up some tears.

ok! First take a deep breath! save doing that for a pair extra minutes till you know each and every thing is going to be ok. You sound way too under pressure for something that isn't that massive of a deal. Then come decrease back and examine something of this. From what i will keep in mind from college (and eighth grade became right into a protracted time in the past), instructors are not out to fail you. on the grounds which you went into the class with an A, you're in an exceptionally good place to pass the class. whether the main suitable examination became into nicely worth 50% (which it in many cases isn't) of your commonly used grade in the class, you will desire to finally end up with a passing grade (like a C). So the main suitable difficulty to do is to speak on your instructor, clarify your concern, and teach him/her how nicely you have been doing till now the main suitable. Be astounding and don't freak out and he/she would even bump your grade up. in case you do no longer pass for some outrageous reason, it quite is not the top of the international. reckoning on your college, you will desire to be waiting to take summer college. communicate inclusive of your counselor or consultant and (s)he would be waiting that can assist you out. merely take it one step at a time. Do what you may and know in the time you have then pass on from there. whenever you finally end up under pressure, take some deep breaths and pass do something relaxing. good luck and let us know the way it finally ends up.

I would assume you'd need to get atleast an 80% or better to keep it at b-range.

Depends on the number of points TOTAL. what percentage does each item count? anyway, take .15 and multiply it by what you hope to make, then add it and average it.
If you don't know how to do this, I would say your chances of keeping that B are slim.

you need to make at least and 82% on your test to maintain the same grade, assuming that your test average is anywhere from a 78%-81%

I believe you would need a B or B+ but it depends on your schools grading curve. Good luck
