Download this free software, http://www.downloadspin.com/System-Utilities/File-and-Disk-Management/Kevin-Solway/Delete-Doctor_2320.htm

Called deletedr. Save to your documents and then open and save to desktop shortcut.

Here are some basic instructions on how to use the software.

This software will delete, write protected files, corrupt files, and files being shared by another file. (Only the file Symantec being shared will be deleted).

When you open the software, open browse, open program files and look for Symantec file & Nortons. Which ever one you see open and the file will be placed into deletedr. Then you want to use the option that says, on my next reboot file will be deleted. Reboot and then go to start, run and type in; c://program files, click on browse, open program files and look for Symantec and delete.

You can also go to start, search and type in: Symantec, and let your PC search for all related files for Symantec, and delete from top to bottom. If any say being shared, then reboot and go back and try again and should delete.

Uninstall Norton again.

Download and run the Norton removal tool here; http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039

Once that is done, reinstall Norton and see if it is fixed.

If not, you might want to try booting into safe mode and deleting the files/folders that will not delete.
To do this, keep tapping F8 when your PC is booting up, then choose safe mode and delete the files.

If you still cannot delete the corrupted files using the above methods, then there are programs available that I think can allow you to delete them, but I don't know what they are, sorry...

Good luck.

I grew up hating Afrikaans too, for exceedingly lots an identical motives (and that i became into raised Afrikaans!). yet a stunning brown-eyed Boere-meisie taught me otherwise (pillow-communicate in english merely does not sound 0.5 as good). yet no, i do no longer think of it quite is going to die out any time quickly, whether each and every final Afrikaans-conversing white leaves. The pan-africanists do in comparison to admitting it, yet there are a number of black people who communicate it rather willingly, and it quite is been my adventure that there are a number of extra who're rather prepared on getting to grasp it. It has additionally been my adventure that people who would squash it merely for political motives are easily in the minority. There are merely too many human beings conversing it now. If it does die, it will be an extremely sluggish loss of existence, no longer a rapid one.
