I'd get to know you first and then we'd work on a plan to get off the blasted island. I tend to work better with people I know :-P We'd discover each other's strengths and weaknesses through the whole process and grow as a team from them.

I would try to get along with you, because as a team we could get more done. Than by being apart. Plus we could look after each other and take care of each other. Apart would not be the choice I would want. Unless we just couldn't get along.

Next, I would make a shelter, then a spear, then look for drinking fluid and food... and work on a fire to share.
Then, politely suggest you do the same.

I'd throw a coconut at your head for putting me on the island . Then make some kind of raft put you on it and sail home. Making me do all the work. Lazy person. lol

I would begin to access what you knew as far as survival skills and if you knew next to nothing...well there is always the answer that my larder will be filled with fresh meat...and the sweet breads could be used as bait...being past child baring age the need to procreate would not be an issue...
