Most Catholics Believe that Jesus Was Born in December 25th...the Holy Bible does not state an specific date..therefore Christians just donate ((Most of them)) food, toys and clothing to the poor and homeless...then they go to warm meals and loving families...but then they NEVER forget to THANK the LORD for an amazing Christmas Eve and Day...
You Might probably think "Now, What Does that Have to do with What I've Asked here?"....simple. I am Christian, I do not believe Jesus Was Born on Christmas...but we Thank him Every Year, Every Day ((NOT just X-mas Day..)) 365 a year....
And Our Church Meets up Before 3pm on the 24th to Deliver Food, Clothes and Toys to Shelters and Homeless Streets in Los Angeles, California, and Sometimes ((since we have churches of our kind in 40 Different places around the world!)) We go to El Salvador, Honduras, Texas, Colorado, Chicago ((etc;)) and do the same.....
Happy Holidays My Friend. =)

I am a christian. But no I do not. I should probably go. But honestly, I do not go. The church I go to is rather large. And is always PACKED on Christmas eve. I would rather watch the eve services on TV and eat pizza with hubby like always. I am sure that the Lord understands my claustrophobia! :)
Merry Christmas!

it is a call made by man or woman church homes. those which close likely do so basically so the pastor and workers would have an afternoon with their households--you understand, their better halves and toddlers? It also relies upon on which day it falls. If it falls on a Sunday, maximum church homes have amenities, although they might properly be shorter and restricted to at least one in the experience that they many times have 2. further (for Hezekiah): No ruffled feathers the following, yet when the Bible is silent about the holidays, how do you condemn the church homes who close for them--assuming they don't fall on an afternoon of worship? God needs us to be good stewards of our money, too. Its like the only Sunday, there became a negative snow fall which kept maximum folk living house, the in uncomplicated words man or woman who confirmed up for church became a farmer. The preacher suggested, "properly, can we've a service, or can we flow living house?" The farmer suggested, "let's have a service." So the preacher gave it his all. He worked up a sweat preaching about the evils of sin, the hell-hearth for sinners and the altar call lasted for a lengthy time period. on the way out of the progression, the preacher suggested, "properly, farmer, what did you imagine?" The farmer suggested, "properly, on the farm, if we in uncomplicated words have one cow, we feed it. yet we do not provide all of it the feed." My factor is that Christians who're mature adequate to attend service on Christmas are also mature adequate to overlook a church service and allow anybody be living house with their households.

I haven't been for a couple of years. I always feel better when I attend. I just don't care for the church I'm a member of. I probably will go. It's peaceful and comforting when I do♥

Very interesting. Several years ago when Christmas fell on a Sunday, many churches cancelled services. Santa takes precedence!

My other half has recently converted to Catholisism from Cof E, so this year we will be. I heard it's great. Everyone's merry and sings far too loudly. I'm looking forward to it.
