My friends ex-wife is making accusations that my 1 month old baby boy is his . They just got divorced about 2 months ago and she saw us at a movie theatre together so she assumed that my baby was his! (shes paranoid) They never had kids together and their marriage lasted 6 months. I guess she is jealous of how he was carrying my baby and playing with him, so now her lawyer, (who is a friend of ours) told us that she wants to bring ME and my baby in for a DNA test to be done on my little baby boy to find out if her ex husband is really the father of MY baby. Can she really do that? I mean her lawyer said that he was not going to go through with it since it's ridiculous and all! But this girl is psycho and she can persue this matter. Can she really call me into court? Wouldnt she need proof? I dont want anyone doing a DNA test on MY baby!

There is so much going on in your post. This could go a couple ways. When someone says someone else is crazy, I like more info. I have been called crazy when in fact it was my husbands ex who was blowing up his phone and writing me nasty letters.
Anyway, was the baby concieved during their marriage. If so she maybe be convinced he cheated and just really wants to know the facts. If you have ever been deeply betrayed you know it can make you act irrational. (I know)Maybe he gave her reasons to believe he was cheating, perhaps cheating with you no less. Now that the baby is here, she is acting crazy because she feels hurt and wants to know.

Or, she is a crazy b*atch and is trying to get info she has no right knowing.
Does that make sense? Regardless, I don't think she does have the right to do that. But then again I am not a lawyer. My hubby DNA tested. But that was because his wife whom he was divorcing just had a baby and claimed it to be his. Too bad her wishes didn't come true ;)

No, she can't do it, but she can cause you grief if she's psycho. She's already causing you grief simply by throwing accusations and intimidating you. Ignore her the best you can, and have her ex deal with the mess - you shouldn't be dealing with any of that.

She can't do that without any physical proof! Keep away from her as much as possible and if need be, get a restraining order against her!

besides her seeing her ex holding your baby does she have any other reason to think that the baby is his?
