2008 Brownlow Medal betting:

Chris Judd (Carlton) $10

Gary Ablett (Geelong) $12

Jonathan Brown (Brisbane) $13

Daniel Kerr (West Coast) $13

Adam Goodes (Sydney) $15

Sam Mitchell (Hawthorn) $17

Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle) $21

Jimmy Bartel (Geelong) $21

Simon Black (Brisbane) $21

Nick Riewoldt (St Kilda) $21

Andrew McLeod (Adelaide) $28

Dean Cox (West Coast) $31

Brent Harvey (Kangaroos) $31

Nick Dal Santo (St Kilda) $35

Lance Franklin (Hawthorn) $35

Luke Hodge (Hawthorn) $35

Scott West (Western Bulldogs) $35

Odds: SportsTab

I reckon Daniel Kerr is the best bet out of this list - just hope he keeps out of trouble & he'll be a big show.

Gary Ablett again listed near the top - pity for him the good judges & umpires don't follow the media hype. He is much shorter than Bartel, despite last years results.

They may as well offer $280 on Andrew McLeod - & not $28 & $3500 on Scott West - for all the chance they have!

Chris Judd at Carlton is overrated, he isn't going to do that well.Gary Ablett is overhyped, but he has a a bit of a chance.
If Daniel Kerr , doesn't get in trouble with the umpires, he is a good chance.
Scott West, Andrew Mcleod and Sam Mitchell have about a chance as Robert Harvey winning again.
Dean Cox is fantastic, but ruckman don't win brownlows often.

Andrew Mcleod being my all time favourite player and deservedly so due to his incredible career.

Unfortunately, his time just may be up at the end of this year.
I wouldn't go so far as to give those odds wunda, he can still fire up.

Of course Kerr would have good odds, lets just hope he stays out of trouble like you say.

I'd be putting my money on Ablett I think.

BTW what's the deal with his brother and not playing?

God max, Judd is overrated you think, crap, either is ablett, more crap, and ruckman dont win brownlows often, triple crap, sorry mate but you are so wrong here.

without looking into a book- Stynes,Thompson,Roy Wright,Peter Moore,Graeme Moss,Teasedale,G.Dempsey,Bill Morris,.

that's off the top of my head, there are many more Max.
Judd$11 and Ablett$13 in today's paper are both very good bets, more so ablett, as we dont know how Judd will go with 'that groin'.
Kerr, without cousins and Judd will get heaps of the ball, so another good pick. there are many, Bartel at $21 is also worth a small punt, couglan from Richmond, the forgotten tiger, 5th or 6th in 2003, missed a couple of years, umps love him.

its all too early to say, but there a few there i wouldn't mind having a little peice of.

Give me $50 on big cox, and yes i am straight. he is the best ruckman in the league, time will tell how good tho, cause good little blokes make ruckmen look good at times, by getting the ball that ain't hit to them etc.

With no cousins and Judd, see how he goes, does get a lot of his own ball though, he's got Kerr too, who will take votes away, but yeah, that's my pick BIG COX.

Daniel Kerr is always up there...but he probably wont be eligible...again. Dont think Jonathon Brown or Matthew Pavlich, etc...no forwards ever get it. I want Coz to win lol.

Daniel Kerr could win it easy I reckon. Nice to see how Judd goes at Carlton and hopefully injury free. If hes fit hes a big threat.

Whats the odds on Cam Bruce?

where is burgoynes and cornes? also IMO it will be defintly a forward because one of the executives said that the umpires have to give better votes to the forwards as they don't really at the moment so next year the umpires agreed and they are going to be more leant towards forwards getting votes.
