i heard that the guy is called a "fiance"pronounced (fee-ans)
and the lady is called a "fiance" pronounced (fee-an-say)

is this true? i thought they were both called "fee-an-say"

'Your' fiance is the man 'you' plan to marry; where as 'your' fiancee (or fiancée) is the woman 'you' plan to marry.

Fiancée for the girl..
Pronounced the same way tho!

the sex does not matter when it comes to being engaged. both refer to each other as their fiance (fee-an-say) hope this helps! :)
