Yes and yes! I got two lovely notes from two people who are in a way strangers but who are becoming very dear friends to me, they lift my spirits and bring joy to me. They are so dear that soon they will not be strangers at all, Sawman and my dear friend Wolfkiss! Their kindness is a blessing to a very lonely woman!

Several coming from friends in the last 2 days. But just like Blanche in "A Streetcar named Desire", I can always depend on the kindness of strangers.

Yes I have. I was at Sam's Club this morning with my father and I had a horrible headache. I was standing of to the side waiting for him. I had my head in my hand and I was feeling a little dizzy. This lady came up to me and asked if I was OK. I said; Yes I'm fine I just have a bad headache. I thanked her. I thought it was nice of her to ask.

My boyfriend's daughter recently came to live with me because her mother's boyfriend beat her (the daughter) up and the mother chose the boyfriend over the daughter. I just got back to work last week after being off with no pay for 5 weeks with surgery. My boyfriend pays 200.00 week to the mother for child support for this kid, so obviously, we are broke. A fellow member of AA who is an Avon rep, gave me a bunch of stuff for my daughter and his daughter (15 and 14) for Christmas gifts.

Not for me but for the bf his mom got $16,000 and has been helping him and his siblings which is a good thing...=-)
