IT doesn't matter to me.

Seeing as how the average woman in the US is a size 14 or 16, and seeing as how the real buying power in the US lies with older women, I think it's probably a dumb move.

Yes, teens and skinny women spend a lot of money on clothing, but their combined spending power is not even close to that of women who don't wear "skinny sizes."

In a country where many, many women wear plus sizes, I think it's kind of foolish to not cater to them, especially since they have the financial resources to really spend a lot of money.

I guess it just means more money for stores like Lane Bryant and Talbot's Woman...

I think that all comes right back the ridiculously fake images that hollywood and the media portray about how young teens should look and act. Its sickening to think about the things that the people of our future are being brainwashed to be. I believe strongly that you should stay true to the person that you really are inside and never change yourself to try to become popular or to be thought of as a "Hollywood beauty" because its a complete and total waste of time. Why spend your time becoming a fake holly wood nobody when you can spend your time working hard at becoming a contributive citizen in college and to become a true somebody who actually contributes something useful and important to out modern and future society.

Its how they make money. 89% of buisness want your money and nothing else. Skinny is what almost all girls want, and if fat isn't, why sell fat or larger sizes. I mean, you can find fat sizes, but skinny is the common, because its where the money is. Trust me, if brand name stores started lines of larger sized clothes, the money would go down, and really, do those snobby rich money makers want to make people happy, or get millions monthly.

It means that they are too caught up in a persons appearance and they dont realize that not everyone is anorexic enough to wear that size. And its bad marketing they would make more money if they sold a large range of sizes instead of constricting
it to a few.

I hate when some designer/brand name stores sell their clothes and it seems like its made more little girls. Like you always wear a medium... but go to a certain store and you can only fit into their XL, makes you feel so fat. I dont know why they do that, its mean

well, who says they can't? Do you want the government to go stop it so you don't feel so bad that nothing fits beefies? If they like selling certain sizes, then we can do nothing. Why do you care? I can't find anything that fits me either (pants) and it gets me mad, but I don't complain. Actually I do. A lot. But nothing happens so It doesn't matter what I think.

I don't fit in Lane Bryant, but that doesn't make it a bad store. I personally don't think anything of it,
cause stores like abercrombie and hollister, overweight kids can still fit in.
