Depends how many people's clothes you're washing.
If it's just for you and your family, though that sure sounds like a waste of water and time...

I have a family of 5 (three very young kids) and I do 2-3 loads a day. My daughter has a quite a few accidents yet, so she goes through a lot of clothes. Plus, the youngest is an infant with extra clothes, blankets, burp cloths, etc.
Are you actually doing full loads of laundry or very picky about how much you put in it and what with?! That seems like a lot to be doing.
BUT hey if you have the time, why not.
Different strokes for different folks......have fun with it! :-)

Thats a lot of laundry. There are 9 people in my family, and I do laundry 2 times a week. Each day I do laundry(usually wed and sat) I do about 8-10 loads. You do a lot of laundry for so few people.

We're a 4 person household as well and I do 2-3 loads every other day and I feel that's a lot already.
3-5 loads each day is definitely a LOT. Could it be that you run small loads? I like to wait till I have enough clothes together for a large load to conserve water and electricity.

Well, it depends on how many people you are doing laundry for. I do laundry for my family of four. Two of which are little boys, messy, wet, muddy. You name it. Then my husband, it's work clothes, and at home clothes. I do 2 to 3 loads a day just to keep up. You might still be nuts though. Aren't we all? :)

21-35 LOADS A WEEK? Or do you take off on the weekend? That is a bit excessive. How many times do you change clothes in a day?

For a family of 14 that's normal.
