Last year I built a 3-layer castle. It was about 8' tall, and 10' in diameter. I made over 400 packed snow blocks from a rectangular cat-litter bucket. It had a real tower and a dungeon.
Not quite as big as your snowman, but this castle was impressive, nonetheless.

I've never been in the snow until earlier this year and boy is it cold! Brrrrr! 30 ft. is very tall and impressive! I built a very small one that's about 3 feet tall. My hands were frozen since I didn't know to put on gloves in the snow... My ears were also frozen too... I'm now cold just thinking about my snowman experience! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

My fraternity brothers and I built a snowman about 8 feet tall in front of the campus library one night. It was anatomically correct and made the front page of the school's newspaper. The administration was not amused.

After shoving all the snow together off the ground my snow man always kind of turned into more of a mud looking man.... So probably only about 2 ft before he started looking like mud instead.

Mine was only about 12 feet, I had to stand on the roof of my house to finish it! 30 feet is AMAZING!
