So it's Putin

I wanna know who are the supporters and who are the non supporters
Give me reasons why you like this choice or why you don't like it.

I personally do not like it because Russians spy on everyone.
and plus i think it should have been a guy like Sarcozy who beat a Socialist Party leader and can take France on a good side or Drew Carey for bravely taking on the Price is Right (hey he took it on humbly and with no *********)
(((((go Kasparov)))))

"russians spy on everyone?" wow that's a pretty ignorant statement to make. you think the u.s. doesn't spy on russia, or almost every other country for that matter?

putin pretty much single-handedly brought russia back from a very bad state caused by the former leaders gorbachev & yeltsin. now there are investors from all over the world wanting to expand into moscow's real-estate, for example. he is a very respected & WELL-LIKED man. a little shady, yes, but that's how it's done in russia. yeltsin had tanks fire on his political adversaries.

He is a communist.

A military commander who is fighting for our freedom lost out to him.

We know where Time's loyalties lie and it isn't with Freedom.
The headline on their Online Article about Putin says "Order Over Freedom" that says it all for me.

What bothers me about it, it just gives Putin more to "strut" about...as if to say, "I'm all that!" We don't need to give him more ammo. He's already getting those signals in his homeland and his ego is in over drive.

I was shocked that it was he... I think it definitely should have been General Patraeus (I wonder if I spelled that right :)) He's been the most important person this year!
