Am I allowed to have an opion. I respect jesus. I'm not going against the jewish. So you shouldnt open your mouth and call people fools and jerks because they ask for an opion. I was wondering what you think; and if you have a remark about me! Poo U! I was asking how you felt about the question. Not how you felt about me and jesus. I love jesus and i have alot of friends who are jewish. Sorry for not making things hard to read. But still, dont open your mouth inless you know everything!

We all have the right to celebrate as we choose. We all have the right to get mad, to have an opinion, and to voice that opinion. Merry Christmas!!!

You think "the jeweish" are getting mad that we say Merry Christmas.

There are people who find that greeting exclusionary, but they're more likely to be Atheist than Jewish.

You also think they're lucky the government gave them the right...when's the next Klan meeting?

Look, if you want to say Merry Christmas, you go right ahead. If I want to say Happy Holidays, I'll go right ahead. This is the holiday season for many people, not just Christians. Government and religion are two different things and need to stay that way to protect all of us, including Catholics, like you and me.

I hadn't heard that the Jews were mad. I only hear that, since our government allows freedom of religion, our government recommend everyone say "Happy Holidays" in order to be all-inclusive and nondiscriminatory. This makes my family, who are all Baptists, absolutely ticked-off, and they'll be darned before they'll say any such thing Merry Christmas so there!! Like or move to another country! My family, as usual, is wrong. If you are Catholic, our government is fine with you saying Merry Christmas; if you are Jewish, our government is fine with you saying, "Happy Hanukkah"; if you are working for the government, our government thinks it would be nice of you to be inclusive and say, "Happy Holidays". To which I reply: Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates a holiday at this time of year!

Just for grins, how bout we just say Happy Holidays? That way everyone is included and it covers everything from Halloween to new years. Most people don't know if someone is Jewish, Muslim, catholic.....doesn't celebrate anything, celebrates everything and no one is offended. The holidays are about coming together, being with friends and family and reaching out to those who don't have anyone to hang with. If someone is being that sensitive because someone says Merry Christmas and they don't celebrate Christmas, their bad. Don't let that spoil your holiday cheer. HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS CHANUKAH'S HANUKKAH KWANZAA NEW YEAR

Well, I myself am Jewish/Hebrew and Catholic and I agree with you! This year, I am celebrating Christmas, but next year, I am celebrating Hanukkuh. I do the opposite every year. Even though we have a different saying doesn't mean EVERYBODY has to say it that way. Everybody has a different way of saying "Merry Christmas!"... and it's not just us Jews/Hebrews that should be thankful for the government letting us celebrate our holiday, but everybody should be thankful. Even the catholics.

this is america... you're allowed to celebrate whatever holiday you believe in. And I do think its kind of rude for us not to awknowledge the other holidays. I dont know any jewish people that have gotten upset over it, but i could understand if they did. whats so hard about saying "Happy Holidays" ? that way youre not leaving anyone out. Its the polite thing to do. save the "merry christmas's" for friends and family with the same beliefs

I don't think the Jewish are "lucky" to be allowed to celebrate there own holiday... I think it would be outrageous, and definitive religious discrimination if they weren't.... and no, I'm not Jewish. I also think people shouldn't get upset when they are told Merry Christmas. It's a wish for happiness, a gesture of kindness, for goodness' sake!

I am catholic as well however, I work with the public so I always say have a nice holiday because you never know what someone is celebrating. But if someone gets mad for saying the wrong thing that is just stupid, they are only trying to be nice, like saying 'have a nice day'.

Happy Holidays!

It's a matter of respect towards different culture. No one should dictate each other what to do or what to say. We have our own way to celebrate Christmas and Jewish also has their own way to celebrate the Holiday Season. What really matter is that we look back and never forgotten the real meaning of Christmas that is Jesus Christ. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS CHRIST.

i don't like the terms "season's greetings" or "happy holidays", i was brought up with Merry Christmas. I think people are getting to fussy over political correctness, if some one wished me a happy Hanukkah i would take it the same way as if some one were to say merry christmas. the point is to wish greetings over this time of year and i think that people should take it for what it is... because if they are getting upset about it, they are missing the point about the holiday
