This is the first Christmas in years I haven't worked retail and I am so happy. People whining about having to wait in a queue, having a cow when one of the operators is closing for a lunch break, 10 hour shifts on your feet in constant noise - and when you smile and wish them a Merry Christmas, half of them look at you like you told them to go hump a camel or something. Nope, I don't miss retail.

There will always be rude customers....Christmas or not. Christmas does seem to bring out the best...and worst in people, though.

YES! People would do anything to get toys for their little ones.
A lady cried because she couldn't get a PSP
A man yelled at my friend (she works with me) because this toy called Fly Fusion Pen was sold out.
MAN, THEY'RE RUDE!

Starts on Black Friday (Friday after Thanksgiving)

Start sucking your thumb and curl into the fetal position when they yell at you. The look on their face is priceless.
