Outside of the NFL, I dont see this, from my personal observation, Polynesians usually have a strong identity of their own.

With many Polynesians, they're actually a mixture of Polynesian and Melenesian. Melanesians are a ******* people who very often look like dead ringers for Black Africans, and live in New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and other places. In the case of Filipinos, they are heavily influenced by the American media and entertainment industry, even more than anyone else as I have observed for many years, and which explains their gravitation in that area.

Well, I can't speak for Polynesians who are by definition mixed, but many in the south pacific are actual black people, i.e. Fijians, Solomon Island people, Papua New Guinea people, Tonga people, etc. hence the term Melanesians.

What do you mean by "black" people? It is a concept impossible to define.

By the way, you might think the people of PNG are black but they don't think so. Those on the mainland call the people of Bougainville "black" and the Bougainvilleans return the compliment by calling the PNG mainlanders "red men".
