First even though Scandinavian and Baltic countries are within or near Arctic Circle they are still very sunny and warm countries during summer so that should explain the skin color.

Secondly those pictures that you have on display. Every person that has black hair has dyed their hair. In Finland hair color is usually brown, blond or blondish. I haven't seen natural black haired person... at least I think so.

Eye color. Most people in Finland, Karelia region, Sweden Baltic countries (and all Finno-Ugric decent) have about 80 per cent or more blue or light eye colored people. I have met just one person with brown eyes.
For example me: I'm about 185 cm(about 72.8 inch) tall, slender, light tan, brown hair and big clear blue eyes or so every one says. That's about everything I know.

There is no typical look the Finns have just like with every other European nationality.

However, the peoples who look like them the most are the peoples of northern Norway, Sweden and Russia, followed by Estonia, then southern Norway and Sweden.

Some Latvians, Poles, eastern Germans and even Irish resemble many of the Finns too. DNA analysis also points to some Lappic and /or Finnic ancestry in these peoples.

The Finns were once a more widespread people in Europe like the Basques, the Lapps (Saami) and maybe the Greeks but they eventually became overwhelmed by speakers of Indo-European languages: Celts, Teutons (Germans & Scandinavians) and Slavs.

Finnic languages were replaced by Indo-European languages almost everywhere except in places near the Arctic Circle.

Finnish is distantly related to Hungarian. It may have some even more distant links to Mongolian, Korean and Japanese.

However, the modern Finns are essentially eastern and northern European Caucasoids with only occasional glimpses of Mongoloid ancestry.

Below is an internet website where you can see what some of the people of the country look like:

There is no tipical look, but if you`d gather some 50 people, one from every european country, I could tell for sure which is the finn, which one is hungarian, which one is romanian, which one is dutch, which one turkish. You bet?

Is dependent on the person. I have aircraft black hair and it looks fantastic on me, and I have close friends with blonde hair that looks excellent on them.
