Can you sketch a 'feeling'? Sketch hate, fear, love, anxiety, frustration, joy, compassion, or some other emotion/feeling.

I don't know what level of artist you are...
uh, let's try a close up of something with textures. It could be a close-up of any 2 or 3 things you have around your room/house, but try to show some texturing whether smooth, rough or whatever. Shading and texturing are practices and topics that are always in need of improving! Best wishes!

I often find myself in the same situation an I remember the ads I have seen all my life in various magazines that say, Can you Draw this and there's a picture of a pirate of a fawn or something like that I choose the pirate and I draw the hell out of a pirate and facinate youngster relatives with it. I find myself out of ideas to draw or doodle I practice and revise the pirate from that ad.

Try animals! Keeps you busy for a while. Try a human eye,too. They're so difficult and detailed. Hope my suggestion helped!
