Well do you attend college? if so a good english course of study writting, doin' poetry wouldn't hurt study the master Shakepear for answers his poems and storys are lyrical,
Just write down whats in head allow one hour to do this every day (write it down0 one day poem or pharagraph may not work thats why write everyday cuase one day may mix with another and sound good! and right for song then combined
Next do a simple copyright on it by going postoffice and stamp have postmarked(easy copyright) then mail out to studios start with nashville then Los Angeles for people to look at. you never know!!??

first of all know what you want to right about.
take each line as it comes. i like to have 2 lines get across one point of the subject. a title and chorus can wait.

just go with what you feel and see what comes out, you can always go back to it later
