To a great extend humans are outside of biological evolution because the are able to form their environment at will and to evade the evolutionary pressure by technique and medicine to a great extent. Since humans developed farming and tools they began to escape from evolution. And in course of time they got out more and more.

Nature has dictated that only the strong survive. We have tried to circumvent that natural process by providing food, shelter, health care, job training, and other assistance for the weak.
Nature has found a work-around to our meddling by making us fat.

Who is having babies? Do they look like Judge Roberts or Jesus down at the carwash? No slight intended toward Jesus but he is making babies. He will survive.
