Ode to Doritos and coke
Oh doritos doritos
nothing else is sweeto
when you add a coke
its no joke
life is so much better
when you throw on a sweater
and drink till you choke
with your doritos and coke

There was once a coke that i new
who hated the pepsi and dew
Well the dew told coke
trying to make a joke
its mom was a ****
and out came coke with a switch
and sliced dew
from head to shoe
and now dew dosent have anymore jokes
for the perfectly awsome coke

For me a poem has to have rhythm. It doesn't necessarily have to rhyme but it needs to hit my emotions. I think clarity of expression is important as well. I don't like to second guess what I'm reading about. I always look for what I term "poetic gems"in the text.
